WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM MALLARD DUCKS?

As I sip on my coffee and watch the sun come up, I am EXCITED! As the sun is about to come up soon I witness one of wonderful experiences in my back pond—the beautiful arrial of about 25-30 Mallard Ducks flying in, putting their amazing wings out, as they flair to land right behind my house! Yes, I assist by feeding them some corn or seed!😃

This experience reminds me of our Heavenly Fathers incredible creation and how much JOY it brings us!

QUESTION: Can we learn something spiritually from these Mallard Ducks? You are going to be amazed!

Mallard ducks can teach us several important spiritual lessons:

1. Adaptability: Mallards thrive in various environments, showcasing flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Are we spiritually open to adapt to changing circumstances in our life?

2. Community and Relationships: These ducks often socialize in groups, highlighting the value of community and collaboration. Their socialization can inspire us to foster connections with one another, which enables an opportunity for us to build more relationships and enlarge the community we live within.

3. Balance: Mallard ducks are comfortable both in water and on land, demonstrating the importance of balance between different aspects of life. As children of God we should be comfortable living on earth, as we long as well to live in Heaven! Do we have such a spiritual balance?

4. Faith and Trust: Observing how mallards navigate their world with confidence can encourage us to have faith in ourselves and trust the process of life, even when challenges arise.

5.Joyfulness: Lastly Mallard Ducks often display playful behavior! It is so fun to watch them interact, as they shake their wings and lovingly push on each other around the ground or the pond.

Question: Do we Spiritually possess a playful behavior where others see our joy? Do we experience any joy in our life today?

God’s nature has an amazing way of teaching us if we are willing to watch, to hear, to soak in what we are experiencing!

Thank You Jesus for the Mallards I witnessed this morning! As the sun was rising, thanks for allowing me to see the beauty of them flying in and then flaring out as they touched the water, so beatiful!

Thank You Holy Spirit for reminding me there is beauty and JOY all around me IF I am willing to look!
