Hands holding a glowing heart made of light particles.

Love Endures After A Life Taken

Love was never lost, only hidden for a night.  Pain thundered for a moment, but morning still belonged to grace, returning sorrow to love, and love to eternity.

This loss cuts deep because love was deep.  Death came wrongly and suddenly, not by God’s design, but by human heartbreak.  And yet, even here, grace holds for eternity what pain tried to take away.

A moment does not define a whole life.  The storm that overwhelms a wounded mind cannot rewrite years of devotion.  The last thought is not the truest thought.  The deepest truth is this:  Love endured, and love endures still.

We wish you could see the love that surrounds your memory now.  The love that stayed even through the storm you could not calm.  You mattered more than pain confessed.  You were cherished more than darkness allowed you to feel.  We loved you then.  We love you now.  And love, real love will not be defeated by a moment of despair.

Your laughter shaped us.  Your tenderness still moves us.  Your absence aches because your presence blessed us.  We carry the love you gave and the love you couldn’t reach, all of it held safe by grace.

We will honor your life not by sinking into the shadows you escaped but by living in the Light that has now fully found you.  Christ Himself redeems what was lost.  And the same Savior will gently restore those who grieve.

For the hands that welcomed you home are the hands that will one day wipe every tear from our eyes.  So we will grieve honestly.  Love boldly and help each other home.  Because there is a day coming where goodbyes have no meaning and wholeness is shared.

And we will honor this life not by carrying endless sorrow, but by learning to rejoice again, to breathe, to laugh, to love in the light of the One who heals every broken heart.  For the truest tribute is to live with open hands, embracing joy as the Lord gives it, trusting that every glad moment here echoes the eternal joy prepared for us there.

So Lord, blessed are You for holding our loved ones in Your arms, and for the peace of knowing

Your presence and Your grace in the life still before us.

Teach us to live with open hearts, to cherish every breath You give, and to rejoice in the love of our Savior, until all things are made new.

Love will one day wipe away every tear, and death will be no more.  (Revelation 21:4)

Nothing in all creation can separate us from the love that holds us.  (Romans 8:38 -39)

Those placed into His hands are held forever .. no one can take them away. (John 10:28)
