PRAYERS NOT ANSWERED

You believed.  You trusted.  You gave your heart to God.  You prayed with hope, or maybe with desperation.  You waited… and waited.

The healing didn’t come.  The door stayed shut.  The pain didn’t lift.  And somewhere inside, a quieter question started to form: “Why would a God I believe in… stay so silent?”

It takes great faith to keep praying when heaven feels quiet.  When you feel abandoned and hope seems like a memory.

Even Jesus, the very Son of God when experiencing his full humanity cried out, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”  That cry wasn’t a failure of faith, It was the sound of faith enduring suffering.  And though it seemed heaven was silent, it was not because the Father turned away.  It was because redemption was being born through the stillness.  In that moment of greatest anguish, God was not absent He was accomplishing His greatest work.  The silence wasn’t abandonment.  It was sacred ground, where mercy and justice met, and salvation took root.

And the One who cried out sees your every tear, he hears your shouts of anger and despair but is already close enough to feel your breath.  He sees the beauty of your faith in the moments lost in suffering.

You were chosen before time, marked by the Lamb’s blood, loved before your first breath.  Even when the heavens feel silent, you are heard – always.  You were not born by chance but destined with purpose, woven into a story larger than you can see, a story whispered by the One who sees the end from the beginning.

So hold fast.  Only God sees the full tapestry;  its purpose, its pain, its promise.  We walk this life not always with answers, but always with access to His presence.  So love deeply. Honor wisely.  Keep the faith, especially when all feels lost.  You are seen.  You are held. You are loved.  And through it all – God’s will be done.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Psalm 34:18 (NIV)

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NIV)
