THANK YOU CHARLIE

“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.”  (2 Timothy 4:2)

Charlie Kirk, a voice that would not be silenced.  A man of conviction and grace.  A steadfast defender of free speech and open, honest dialogue rooted in truth-seeking, guided by conviction, and always centered on Christ, in both his heart and his message.

How can I miss a man I never knew.  And yet, I do.  Because something in him felt familiar, a calm in the storm, a voice of compassion and clarity when both felt in short supply.  He honored the dream, not just of our Founding Fathers, but of the Father above.  A dream for America.  For families.  For values rooted deep and freedoms worth defending.

He spoke not just to win, but to awaken.  He reminded us that goodness still matters, that truth still stands, that the teachings of Jesus still speak to our time.

I’m grieving a man I never met, but I know we need what he represented desperately.  So I pray.  And I hope.  That his voice was not an end, but a seed.  That his courage will blossom into many.  That his sacrifice will call forth faith, reason, and love in all of us.

A life cut short, but a glorious impact on the world.  To live so fully, to lead so boldly, to speak with Christ on his lips and truth in his bones.  This was a life poured out, not wasted.  He led as a child of God, not with pride, but with purpose. Not for applause, but for awakening.

Now embraced in the loving arms of God, his work on earth complete, but his witness still alive.  A guiding light, not to himself, but to Jesus.

And we who remain must carry what he carried, the fire of conviction, the courage to speak, and the faith to love in the open.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness,

which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—

and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.”

 2 Timothy 4:7–8
