TRUCK WINDOW  SMASHED!

Darkness enters our life at unexpected times, but God shows up to save the day!!!

Got your attention?  Let me share the story.

The day started with an awesome morning with my brother Ray eating breakfast. We both were up early so he said, let’s me and you go on down so we can talk and not wake up Debby. Good idea!  Ray and I had an incredible spiritual moment together as we ate mana from Heaven, drinking our first hot cup of coffee together!  Soon Debby joined us, and we reviewed the day’s agenda for my treatment.  We also shared with her what the Holy Spirit spoke with Ray and I. Awesome sharing with tears of joy!

So we head out from the hotel room to Ray’s Ram truck, Big Red, so we can get to Duke for my treatment.  We cannot miss my treatment time slot, so it is critical to be on time!.  The parking lot is full.  We get close to Big Red, and WHOA, Big Red’s back passenger window is SMASHED!!! Glass everywhere!

Please know we work hard in our routine to get to the treatment on time . We have to because I move physically slower now.  So now our routine is “blown” up and only so much time to get to my treatment.

Share something with you, I experience incredible emotions as I fight the battle of this brain cancer.  Emotions can overwhelm and take me from feeling good to bad.  At Big Red, with Ray and Debby looking at the damaged truck, I lost it “WHY GOD? aren’t we suffering enough!” I break out in a horrible sob, that deep painful kind just overwhelming sob. Debby runs to me , gives me a big hug, and says honey listen this is darkness! Look at all vehicles around and the only one damaged is Big Red? Darkness wants us to rob us of our joy right now, let’s don’t let him!  She shared then what he meant as evil, God intends for good, Genesis 50:20.

I hear her, she’s right, oh my I throw up my arms and begin shouting as loud as I can, which is very loud!, THANK YOU JESUS, over, and over, and over till His peace washes over me mightily.

Over the rest of the day, other awesome events occur.  Already know I need to share with you later about a lady angel who shows up to take Debby and I to Duke while Ray deals with Big Red. You will have to wait to hear!

But one item I do desire to share, is we choose to divide and conquer. Ray to deal with Big Red, while Debby and I go to my treatment. Not easy for Ray to separate from us, as we have been a “team” in this journey, but he realizes we need Big Red to get home tomorrow.

What to say now?  Hummm?  Let focus on what happens with Ray as he gets Big Red repaired.

At the repair shop waiting room, Ray realized his phone is about to die. Not good for us to be out of touch with each other!  Ray has an apple phone, he looks around the waiting room and see one man with an apple laptop.

Ray asks, “Sir by chance do you have a charger I can borrow?”  The gentlemen says yes!

Ray is so grateful and sits down with the man. Ray is a humble man, with a great heart, but is guarded around strangers. However Ray decides to quietly share with the man why he is there, and what is happening with us. Then the man shared with Ray his story, what brought him to the repair store today.

As they become friends, Ray discovers he is talking with a Baptist preacher with a very diverse ministry.  WOW!

This now becomes Ray’s story within our story and there a few other powerful points to share; but that is for Ray to share later if he is led to by Holy Spirit.

What darkness intended for harm…

God MEANT FOR GOOD!
