AMBASSADOR FOR JESUS!

As Debby and I struggle in our battle with this large, brain tumor, actually four of them, we are unable for the first time in my life to physically attend church, and it brings me sadness. I LOVE my church family at Trinity, Jacksonville, NC! I love Pastor Steve! I am excited about what Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, is doing right now in the lives of those worshipping at Trinity! I would love to be there, right beside you in worship. I struggle with this separation! Right now you are a strong foundation of our encouragement, our strength, our care. Paul, Joe, Susie, Elizabeth, Randy, James, Roger, Bill, Parker, Drew, Jason, Miles, Bryleigh, Reid, Kathy, Anne, Charlene and Zack, Vicki, and the Henderson class just to name a few members, a few staff, a few volunteer leaders. There are so many more of you! Those assisting us, bringing us encouragement and joy during our weekly battle!!! I pray, “When can I join them on Sunday again Lord Jesus???”
But then the Holy Spirit pours into my mind with His awesome presence, with His powerful truth, “son you are at worship right now, so early this morning, at this hotel!” Today is Tuesday, the second day of the second week of battle! Secret, there is much to discuss one day with you. More often than not I find myself awakened in the early morning by the Holy Spirit, a time called Fourth Watch (between 3am to 6am). I hear His voice so clear at this time. As I hear Him this early morning, “Jerry let them know how much I LOVE them all”. I hear Him also say, “Jerry share with all, I have a strong desire to spend more time with them on the days not called Sunday!”
Profound mistake sometimes made by us: most common place to be an ambassador for Jesus is on Sunday at church, right? Just be honest, where do I more often share Jesus with others? Where do I more often focus on Jesus? Is it primarily on Sundays at church? Now praise God, many I know are indeed ambassadors during the week and outside the church, PTL! However, at times in our life, God’s work is mostly done on Sunday, at church.
Truth: in REALITY ambassador is a representative on any day of week, at any sport event, in neighborhoods, at the beach, in school, at work!!!
An ambassador is a representative no matter the time, date, location or situation!
Now then we are ambassadors for Jesus!
Question: Can this change for me? Deeper question, do I desire this change in my life? Where or how am I being an ambassador?
I close praising my Lord Jesus! Praise Him for this new early morning Fourth Watch experience!
Praise Him for the JOY He blessed me by saying Jerry, “start writing reflections of what you are experiencing and share them with others.”
Yes Lord! So I attempt to be faithful in sharing them with you, so you can reflect on them during your first cup of coffee.
Thank you for this joyful partnership of work in His Kindgdom…
He said, “ Jerry my son, you are still an active minister in this battle!”
My brothers and sisters, with complete humility and honestly, I sense this ministry of my life may be the best ever, WOW!
